Did you know Emeralds are the traditional stone/ gift for a 20th anniversary?

To celebrate our twentieth guild anniversary we are issuing a challenge to VQG members to create any quilted item that contains the color emerald green. Emerald is the gemstone for the twentieth anniversary. Be creative, maybe a quilt, a bag, a jacket, a doll as long as something in the piece is quilted. Yes there will be prizes.

You will show your challenge piece at the February Guild meeting to qualify for a prize. We are hoping you will sign up to loan us the piece to display as part of the decorations for our Splendor in the desert quilt show in March. There's no need to sign up ahead of time, but you can help build the excitement by posting a picture of your entry on our Facebook Group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/691116338354308/
