Voting for Quilts
On Friday, March 17th only, all attendees at the show were given a ballot to vote for two categories: Best in Show and Best Use of Color. At the close of the show on Friday, the votes were tabulated and ribbons awarded to the top ten quilts with the highest number of votes.
Ribbons were awarded as follows:
  • Best in Show,
  • 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and
  • six Honorable Mention (I’m a Winner) ribbons.
In addition to the Best Use of Color special award, there are also two special ribbons that will be awarded –
  • President’s Choice, awarded by the Guild President, Cindy Cutsforth, and
  • Ranch Manager’s Choice, awarded by Canoa Ranch Manager, April Layher.
A quilt may also receive more than one ribbon depending on how the Best Use of Color, President’s Choice or Ranch Manager’s Choice ribbons are awarded.
