Update on Block of the Month

11/21/2020

I am really excited to get this Bee going.  The objectives of the BoM Bee are:  #1 To have Fun!    #2. To get to know each other better. #3.  No UFO’s from the Bee.  #4.  Learn something.

If you have had a chance to look on the Website, you may have noticed Karen has posted several of your first blocks to the Block of the Month page.  Congratulations for getting your November block done.  I have December’s block ready to go to the newsletter.  Karen agreed to look over the pattern.  My Mom always said, “She has to read between the lines when I write”.  I apologize to those of you who found that the truth for our first block.

Monthly meetings will be the 4th Tuesday of each month at 4pm via Zoom. We are going to have our first zoom meeting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at 4 o’clock. It should be less than an hour, unless we all decide to extend it.  Remembering the reason for this Bee, I want to make sure we have fun, get to know each other, finish our projects each month so NO UFO’s and hopefully we’ll all learn something.  I say we all cuz I am going to facilitate the Bee but we all have lots of experience and I want us to share our personal knowledge.

I will start this meeting, reviewing some of the points from the first block.  Then we’ll have a ‘sharing’ to answer everyone’s questions.  I have the tutorial for the December block to show also.  The pattern will be in the December newsletter and on the Block of the Month page in the Member only part of the Website.
