Round Robin
New Bee- Round Robin
Starting Date: August 12, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. and running for an undetermined time. (depending on the size of the group).
Location: 1840 N Pacana Way, Green Valley, AZ (Pueblo Estates). Meeting times: 10:00 A.M. until ?? on the second and fourth Friday of each month (not necessarily every other week.) Length of the meeting is dependent on the number of participants and will vary from week to week.
General Instructions and Expectations: On August 12, 2022 bring a quilt block measuring somewhere between ten and fourteen inches on each side. It can be either a square or a rectangle. Also bring fabrics that you feel will compliment (plus one for complement) the block you have chosen. Put all the fabrics and the block in a bag with your name on it. \At the meeting every participant, except the owner of each specific block will discuss the block and offer ideas for making it into a beautiful quilted item The owner of the block will be in a different room and will not participate in or be aware of what is said. Furthermore she will not see her block for several weeks. At the end of the discussion, the block will be passed to the participant seated to her left and that participate will take it home and do whatever she feels is appropriate on it and bring it to the next meeting. We go through the same procedure for each participant at each meeting and discuss them all of them in the same manner. The number of meetings depends on the number of participants. Maximum number of participants is ten, so theoretically it could go on until December. Although we do make alternate arrangements for major holidays. If you are interested, in participating or you are undecided or have questions or concerns about any of it, give me a call at 520-625-0341. I am happy to answer any questions and I need to know the final count so I can cut it off when all my chairs are claimed. 5 It’s a fun group to join. We have five returning participants and hope to get a few more. It is a fun way to spend a few hours and a good way to get a new look at different ideas.. Maybe some of them will be new to you. A learning process and you get to know your “fellow” guild members and make new friends. Best of all, we have snacks.
